I totally agree. Here I have tried to characterize industrial work vs lab work. In lab work you work hard and take risk to do new things. To be successful in a lab environment you need passion and talented people around you.
But there are a few more success factors: one-to-one marketing prevents us from getting locked into the repetitive technological arms race, transparency - opening the black box let you look much deeper into what you have done ....
Without passion things become old ....
