In the Future Risk Managers Will Be Fired in 15 Minutes?

In What Keeps Heads of Risk Management Awake at Night I have pointed out that the importance of risk management is still underestimated at many financial institutions.

This must change - but hopefully not in the following sense:

yesterday I read this in Noah Smith's blog (at the moment some members of his teams write the posts). With a cynic comment of Noah himself:
In the future, magazines will make up fictitious offensive employees and "fire" them to prove how sensitive and socially conscious the magazines are
Translating this into financial institutions, risk management and prove risk consciousness ... to make regulators and - in general - the pubic happy?
